Changing The World For HuskiesWhy I built this website. I feel the internet is an amazing vehicle for change. You can reach a world wide audience with the click of a button. But the internet and building a website can be a very complex medium if you don't know what you are doing. For some time I had wanted to build a website about huskies, but I had no idea how to start. Do I just pick a host? Do I register a domain name? How do I build traffic? What software do I use? And what about all that FREE webhosting? I was so overwhelmed with all the information out there that I didn't even start. I just surfed the web for months with out ever making a choice. Then I found Site Build It and I read everything on that website. They made it sound possible to build a website without spending extra time learning to be technically savvy. The SBI Process works. When I first bought SBI I had prepared a story to tell my husband that didn't make me look like I had been scammed. I never had to use that story. SBI is authentic and it works. Why not use free website hosting? As you may have guessed, nothing is free. If your website becomes successful (which is the point - to have people find your website), you will end up paying for your visitors to...well...visit because visitors take up cyber space and cyber space is not free. Not only that, but there will be programs that you will need to buy in order to make your website look professional. Oh, and when you use free web hosting or free website packages, those companies make money off of your hard work. Now there is nothing wrong with that, business is business, but isn't it better if YOU make money off YOUR hard work? Why I built alaskan-husky-behavior.com. I think the best way to help dogs is to help people be educated owners. I believe people want to do what is best, but they do not always have the tools. I try to offer the tools. How do I make money? Throughout this website you will see advertisements. When you buy something through this website I get a small commission (the price doesn't change for you). The more money I make through this website the more time I have to dedicate to writing training pages. You could say I am paid to train dogs through the internet (pretty cool, huh!) Oh, and if you watch that horse video above, that was made by someone in Spain who uses SBI and a laptop. She does not have access to the internet at home. She has to drive her pickup truck to a location with cell phone coverage and then uploads everything from her laptop through her phone to her website. One more thing, this isn't a get rich quick scheme. All work takes time and effort, but work with passion never feels like work.
