Definition of a Puppy Mill

So, if I sell (or give) puppies to a pet store to sell, does that make ME a puppy mill? Does it matter if the puppies are intact or altered?
If I only breed one breed of dog, but I have seven litters of puppies each year, does that make ME a puppy mill?
If I don't keep my dogs in cages, and I take very good care of them, and I have only five dogs and they are all different breeds and I have only two litters every year, am I a puppy mill?
What if I only have ONE litter a year?
What if I have only one intact dog and she has puppies every other year...does that make me a puppy mill?
If I enter my dog(s) in dog shows, and only sell my puppies through the internet and ads in the newspaper, does that mean that I am NOT a puppy mill?
