Welcome To The Gentle Canine North Carolina Dog Training and Dog Walking Services. If you live in the Sneads Ferry, Hamstead, Holly Ridge, or Surf City area we are your dog training source.

Do you love your dog, but can't stand the [insert behavior that drives you crazy here]. Did you just bring home a puppy and need housetraining pointers? Fall in love with a rescue, but he's quirky? Has your dog of 5 years started some new behavior that has you baffled? We are here to help. We'll work through it together.

I know life can get pretty busy and we don't always have the time we need for our dogs, that's why we also include Dog Walking Services.

Our Services:

• Private Dog Training Lessons At Your Home $30/lesson (most lessons are 45 minutes to one hour depending on health, age of dog, problem at hand)
• All Breeds Welcome

• Dog Walking Services - $15 for a 30 Minute Walk

My philosophy follows that all dogs are individuals, even within the same breed. I approach training on that individual level. My goal for each dog is to become a delightful member of your family.

About The Gentle Dog My name is Kirsten, and I spent 10 years working with huskies in Alaska. I also spent several years as a Veterinary Technician. I worked with all shapes, breeds, and sizes of dogs at the animal shelter in Alaska (believe it or not they were not all huskies). You will notice this website focuses on huskies, but this isn't just a place for husky lovers, all dogs are welcome. Feel free to browse around, there's a lot of information around here.
