My Favorite Pooper Scooper Set

pooper scooper

Why is this pooper scooper set up my favorite?

Because you never need to get TOO close. You can also clean up after quite a few dogs in one fell swoop (ahem...scoop).

You can find all of this at your local Do It Yourself store.

Okay, here are the tools of the trade...

1. A covered garbage can with a plastic liner.

2. A small rake (which works better on grass and sand than a flat tool).

3. A heavy duty dust collector. I like the kind that locks open.

Scooping Tips

1. Never share the scooper tools. That is how parasites transfer from yard to yard.

2. Bleach all pooper scooper parts from time to time. This keeps the parasite level down. Especially if you live in a warmer climate.

3. Pick up poop everyday. It's really important for your dog.

Not only does scooping poop keep your dog healthier, it is very important because we don't give our dogs enough room to get away from their soiling. Even in big yards.

When you keep your dog area clean, they have a better chance of understanding house breaking because they don't learn to sit in their own soil.
